Booking a professional pool leak detection is the first step — but getting your pool ready is just as important.
Here’s a simple step-by-step guide to help homeowners prepare so we can locate every possible leak efficiently and accurately.

1️⃣ Make Sure the Water Level Is at the Middle of the Tile Line

Before your appointment, the pool water must be at the middle of the tile line.
That’s how we can properly test the entire pool structure, especially when performing dye testing around the grout, skimmer(s), and steps.

I once had a homeowner in Pembroke Pines who was losing water quickly due to an aggressive main drain leak.
Her pool was nearly 70% empty when I arrived. I performed the test as best I could, but some areas couldn’t be checked because the water was too low.
The leak ended up being around the main drain mud sump, which I sealed using a 5-minute hardener and epoxy.
